A 2006 survey by the University of North Texas reported that North Texas residents most frequently receive their news through television than from any other media outlet. The 2007 Storm Water Pollution Prevention Campaign will bring with it Storm Water Management’s first television commercial. The advertisement will air during local morning newscasts and other programming on area television stations. The commercial was produced through a cooperative effort with the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and focuses on how to prevent pet waste from polluting our storm water.

The commercial will run from mid-April through September on WFAA Channel 8, KDFW Channel 4, KDFI Channel 27, KXTX Telemundo 39 (Spanish ad), KXAS Channel 5, KTXA Channel 21, and KTVT Channel 11.
